Green Bay Bridge Rains $20 Bills

On Wed, a money bag containing $80,000 was accidentally dropped from an armored truck and money began blowing around and down to the river banks below.

Traffic came to a halt as commuters got out of their cars and jumped over dividers trying to catch the money, nearly causing accidents.

Police Captain Greg Urban called on people to be honest and ethical and turn it over to police. "Technically, it's the crime of theft, not finders keepers," he said.

  Not finders keepers

It wasn't lost.

How would you feel if you dropped $50 while taking it out of your wallet, and before you could pick it up, some guy grabs it and says 'finders keepers'?

Obviously a portion of the money wouldnt have been recovered, but it's still theft to take something that doesn't belong to you.

  Finders Keepers

This is a case of finders keepers federal gvnt weepers. How secure was this armored car if it dropped a bag of 80 grand. How intelligent were the gaurds since they didnt even secure their own armored vehicle properly. I dont care if I drop some money and some guy grabs it if i loose money its cause I did something to invite my loss of money, good old karma.

  'fraid so.

If money from the goverment or a big faceless corporation falls off the back of a truck, then its finders keepers.
