Ford Employees Spend Nearly an Hour Per Shift in the Bathroom

The company allots 48 minutes per shift for employees to use the bathroom, and too many of their employees at the Wayne, Michigan plant are using more than that amount of time.

"In today's competitive environment, it is important that Michigan Truck plant immediately address this concern to avoid the risks associated with safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale," an internal memo said.

Workers claim that management is trying to gloss over low sales of the large SUV's made at the plant caused by this years gasoline prices.

Ford reported a 3rd quarter loss of $191 Million.

  Pfft.
I have a Ford and I rekon that the person who worked on my car spent an hour in the bathroom. No reason. Just... thats what I rekon. Anyway, my mate works in some mechanics in the UK and he goes to the bathroom and sleeps on the toilet. I bet they all go for a nap.

Why not just put the stick on poop shoot that the Apollo missions to the moon used?

  Ford double standards
As a supplier to these people it irritates me, they expect the moon on a stick from their supply base and yet any visitor to one of their plants will tell you that they are hardly working hard!
No wonder they aren't making any money.

Same comments go to GM and VW. too many people doing too little for big bucks.

Of course, its all managements fault that the dim workforce are idle. If they made them work harder, it would be managements fault for that as well!
