Bears Defeat Packers 24-17

 

The Chicago Bears Clinched the NFC North and a first round bye in the playoffs by beating the Green Bay Packers 24-17.

The Chicago Bears swept the season series against Green Bay for the first time since 1991 when they won 10-0 and 27-13 respectively.

Rex Grossman of the Chicago Bears went 11 for 23 with 166 yards and a TD and an INT, Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers went 30 for 51 with 317 yards and 4 INT while being sacked twice in the closing seconds of the game.

But if Fauvre had more time on the clock at the end, I think the packers would have put the game into overtime.

The bears are a great team this year, actually, lol. And there aren't many teams who have faced them this year who haven't lost to them. It's been joked about though that if the Bears were to somehow make it to the Superbowl and win, then that may be a sign that the end is near, when you take into context the White Sox as well...

The bears, as far as individual talent, have had pretty much the best defense in the league. Some teams just don't seem to realize it takes more than just talent to win games though. I guess this year their QB finally decided to be a leader and got the team to unite.
