GREAT FALLS, Va - Police say that Nathan W. Cheatham, 27, went on a Christmas Day shooting spree that left four people dead, including his mother, before Cheatham took his own life.
Although authorities are still trying to piece together a motive for the slayings, they stated that Cheatham had a history of mental problems. He shot his mother in the driveway of her Fairfax County home before driving ten miles to Great Falls.
Once he arrived in Great Falls, he entered a home and went on a room to room killfest, firing at least 50 rounds. Killed in the home were Janina C. Price, 50, Adam S. Price, 19, and Christopher J. Buro, 20. A fourth person in the home escaped.
