Actor Vincent Schiavelli Dead at 57

 

Character actor Vincent Schiavelli has died of lung cancer at the age of 57 at his home village of Polizzi Generosa, Sicily. He appeared in some 150 film and television productions in his career.

He played the the subway ghost in the movie “Ghost,” Salieri’s valet in “Amadeus,” and as patient Frederickson in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” He was science teacher Mr. Vargas in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” and many more characters.

  A real loss for the entertainment industry  
 He was one of those actors who was so incredibly ugly that you couldn't forget his face, but never could remember his name.

 That is a shame he was a decent actor for th parts he played also but just like all good small part actors you never know their name untill they die.
