Police in England have opened investigation into a plot that would have seen British prime minister Tony Blair's son Leo kidnapped and held briefly. The reports were made in the tabloid newspaper The Sun, who claim Fathers 4 Justice planned the plot.
The Prime Minister's office said: "we are not going to comment on this story." And London police refused to comment in detail, stating only that "we are not prepared to discuss matters of security of this type."
Police did tell the BBC that they were aware of a plot to kidnap five-year-old Leo. Fathers 4 Justice spokesperson Matt O'Connor said the plans have "definitely nothing to do with the official group."
