Norway Doctor Admits More Fabrications
 

A respected Norwegian doctor who faked a medical study on oral cancer (SN reported) has admitted to two more fabricated studies. One article featured in the New England Journal of Medicine and the other in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Jon Sudbo’s lawyer, Erling Lyngtveit, said: “This was not about the money at all. It’s really about the things that in other contexts are positive and drive research forward – honor, fame, success, to be able to point to achievements.”
