The Seattle Seahawks will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XL after they beat Carolina comfortably in yesterday's playoffs. The Super Bowl on the 5th of February in detroit will be the first for the Seahaks.
Seattle's 34-14 lead over Carolina was lead by quarterback Matt Hasselbeck who threw for two touchdowns and Shaun Alexander -- rushing leader in the NFL -- who ran in for two. The Steelers won 34-17 against Denver.
Seahawks' coach Mike Holmgren, said: "We've got people excited. This makes me sure I can coach a little bit. I feel so good for the organization and the fans." Holmgren was at the helm of the Green Bay Packers when they took the Super Bowl in 1997.
