Swiss International Airlines Plane Overshoots Stuttgart Runway

A jet run by Swiss International Airlines has overshot the runway at Stuttgart airport today. No one was injured in the incident and the cause of the overshoot is believed to have been the snowy weather conditions the plane had to land in.

Approximately 25 flights were cancelled because of the incident, as the runway involved was closed for some two and a half hours. 40 passengers and 3 crew members were on board. No official reason has been given for the accident.
