Budget Airline to Charge Check-In Fee

Ireland’s budget airline Ryanair has caused a stir after announcing the company plans to charge each passenger at least £2.50 for checking in if they are carrying more luggage than one light bag. The fee comes in effect in March.

Ryanair said the introduction of a check-in fee will save the company approximately £20 million every year. If passengers forget to pay their fee when booking their tickets online, they are charged £5 for every airport they’re flying through.

Passengers carrying luggage that is less than 10kgs are exempt from the extra charges.

  Won't fly with them..

Had a flight booked with them to visit Scotland. Then they kept changing our dates and changing our dates and changing our dates. Almost every day we got a message that our dates and our times were changing. The problem is that they changed so much they were outside of my vacation window. So we opted out of the tickets and our money returned. But now that I look at how they handle things I would never fly with them. They are so interested in making money I'm not sure I can trust to go on a plane and not have it fall apart under me.

My cousin had a bad experience like that

They changed her dates again and again and again. When she went to the airport finally, they told her she wasnt due to fly that day.

They had to call the police to drag her away.

  all bad experiences

are possible with any flight, its just you that are unlucky.
So to just never go to the same one again doesn't really do much.
Anyone every watch that SouthWest Airplanes show on A&E? Very amusing to watch.
If you believe that problems happen on a certain carrier, watch that and you will hate southwest forever! :o
