Bill Gates Raises TB Eradication Funds from $300m to $900m

Software billionaire Bill Gates has announced today that his charitable foundation plans to triple its funding for tuberculosis eradication from $300m to $900m within the next 10 years.

Tuberculosis clamed the lives of over 1.6 million people last year and the increase in funding announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos is seen as a very positive move.

Gates made the announcement alongside the Nigerian President and British Chancellor Gordon Brown calling for or help in the treatment of 50 million people in the next 10 years

I would love to love Bill Gates for this
But the fact remains that he, and his company, continue to do evil things - and plan to do even more evil things.

I cannot over look that, even with the immensely generous funding from his foundation.
