Man with Cat Allergy Charged for Killing Cat Who Made Him Sneeze

Ricky Ray James Rogers stands accused of shooting a cat that made him sneeze. After the cat turned up in Roger's yard he asked residents of a nearby halfway house if the cat was theirs. After they told him it was not he proceeded to shoot the cat.

The cat was shot by a .22 in the abdomen at a range of 2 - 3 feet. The cat then ran off into the bushes where it died. Rogers admits killing the cat and says he is allergic to animal hair. He is currently charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal.

The witnesses to the crime were residents of Assisi Bridge House in Houma. The house is a halfway house for men recovering from alcohol and other drug addictions. Rogers claims the men have many animals which are allowed to roam freely.

Funny, if I could get away with it...
I would shoot him in the stomach and let him die in some bushes. I am not even joking. Sick <censored> that he is.

  This is not really cruel
If I had a cat that was continually in my yard and no one claimed it. I would have no problem taking it out to the country and shooting it(assuming its was an alleycat and not some ones house cat with a collar and stuff). I grew up on a farm and I have had to put down many animals, I really don't see the cruelty is doing it.

I am not really agreeing with this guy to shot any random cat that walks in your yard, I am more saying that he should not be charged with cruelty to animals there are much more cruel ways to kill animals.(if you all remember the lady that put the cat in the dryer)
