According to a Yahoo News article, Mount Everest has claimed three more lives in separate expeditions. Three climbers from France, Russia & Brazil had all died from exhaustion on the way back down after reaching the summit in their expeditions.
Names of the dead climbers were not released, stated the Secretary-General of Tibet Mountaineering Association.
In the past week, with improved weather conditions, officials said that 42 climbers had reached the Nepalese side of the summit.
May is the best month to climb Everest due to better weather conditions. Everest was first conquered in May of 1953 and more than 1,400 climbers have reached the summit since and 180 have perished trying.
