New Bioterrioism Unit at Childrens Hospital
 

A 5,000 square foot bioterriosm unit open today next to Children's Hospital Emergency unit in Washington DC. It could be the frontline of responing to a bioterrorism attack

This bioterrioism unit features, a underground water tank, a seperate ventation system, special treatment areas, and 18 showers that could accomdate families.

Hospital officials started planning this after the terror attacks occurred on September 11, 2001.

  What a colossal waste  
 
of precious resources.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!! We have so many terrorists where I live that I carry a gun, a gas mask, survival rations, and a boat with me everywhere I go…NOT!

Why did they build this unit in DC and not in my community? Aren’t our children just as important as theirs? Silly question.

Any bets on how often this will actually be used for bio-terrorism treatment? Doctors manning this unit will be envious of the Maytag man’s busy schedule.
