Ben Roethlisberger was injured early Monday morning while riding his motocycle. The accident occured in a heavily congested area in Pittsburg, PA.
The 24 year old quarterback is listed in serious, but stable condition. His injuries are not expected to be life-threatening. It was reported that his head hit the windshield of a car. He was not wearing a helmet.
Roethlisberger led the Pittsburg Steelers to a win in the 2006 Superbowl, becoming the youngest quarterback ever to do so. Last year, during an interview, he stated that he prefered not wearing a helmet while riding his motocycles.
