The Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG has been redesigned to appear more sporty, according to the company. The two-seater sports car features an AMG 5.5-liter V8 engine enhanced to 400 horsepower. It has 19-inch AMG forged wheels and a carbon fibre hardtop.
Numerous construction components are more lightweight in the car and its power to weight ratio was improved from 4.3 to 3.7 kg/hp. A restyled AMG front apron with large air intakes graces the nose of the car.
The new SLK 55 AMG is now 45 kg lighter and has a lower center of gravity.
