Man Plays Dead for Help

A man stranded on an Australian highway was laying road to get some help for his car.

A woman driving with her children saw the man and had to swerve to avoid hitting him.

"She drove around the body — which didn't move at all — and got to the nearest phone," Backhouse said.

An ambulance arrived shortly after to find the man alive and well, Police said "lying in the road" was stupid but no charges were filed.
