Dog Raises Squirrel
 

A dog in Iowa has taken in an orphan squirrel as her own. The mother is also raising a three-week-old puppy with the squirrel at the same time.

The squirrel, named Buster, is so young, its eyes haven't opened yet, so it cannot tell the difference. When it gets older, the plan is to release the squirrel to a wildlife center.

one of my old neighbors i think raise a baby squirrel once cause i think he was doing an experiment to see if the squirrel would come to him and it did so they raised it

That after killing a mother rabbit brought the babies home and was looking after them (strange for a Male cat). Anyway, Mom and Dad weren't sure if he was being nurturing or just saving them for a snack later.

We raised a squirrel once. Eventually we let it go because my dad had a terrible terrier that would've loved to eat it. But it was a very domestic squirrel and would have made a great pet.
