The United States Olympic Committee has banned Trevor Graham from using any of the Committee's facilities or training centres. Mr Graham is the coach of athletics star Justin Gatlin, who is currently under the spotlight for doping.
Gatlin, however, is not the only reason for the ban. The US Olympic Committee, in announcing the ban, said that it was because a suspicious number of people that Graham has coached who have been convicted of doping charges.
Joseph Zeszotarski, Graham's legal representative, said: "There is no basis for any ban - Trevor will pursue all legal avenues." The USOC has been praised for taking such a strong step.
