Swiss Man Blames Goat Free Canadian Roads on Speeding

A Swiss man caught driving at 100mph in a 60mph zone on a Canadian highway has blamed his speeding on the absence of goats on Canadian roads.

Canadian police spokesman Joel Doiron has said that this is the first time he has heard such an excuse for a traffic violation adding "I've never been to Switzerland, but I guess there must be a lot of goats there."

The Swiss driver was issued with a fine of C$360 (US$330; £175) for speeding.

So I guess all we have to do to curb excess speeding, is import some goats..
