Former President Ford Dies at 93

Former President Gerald R. Ford has died at the age of 93.

Ford was the 38th US President and the only unelected president and vice-president in American history.

He took office directly after Nixton resigned over the Watergate scandal declaring that, "our long national nightmare is over."

You're fast. Oh so fast. Anyway, "the only unelected President in American history" - He didn't turn out half bad did he? And you really can't feel too bad for him, 93!! That's a nice long life. Most of us will be lucky to see 83, or even 73! RIP.

sad thing and all...but sadly this is going to steal james brown's thunder.

This is an article about Ford, not about your anti-Bush propaganda.

That's a very sad commentary on "your generation."

  A great president
I'm sad to hear of his passing. He accomplished a lot in his short term as president. He made us laugh when we needed it most and carried the mantle of power with dignity and honor.

  wasn't he the President
that was always bumping his head? Anyway, he saved my ass after I had gotten drafted. He let all the draftees out of the service. Good guy.

Oh, so now *facts* are anti-Bush propaganda? Wasn't Bush appointed president in 2000 by the U.S. Supreme Court, or was that just a bad dream I had?
