Whitney Houston Selling Her Clothes to Pay Debts

Whitney Houston, the singer who had remarkable success in the mid eighties with songs such as 'Saving All My Love For You' and 'Greatest Love Of All' is being forced to sell clothes and other personal possessions due to her debts.

A storage facility housing a large amount of the singer's possessions has obtained a court order to sell the stored items because the bill has not been paid since 2005. Drugs and a marriage breakdown have contributed to Houston's financial problems.

Included in the auction are many musical instruments including a £150,000 grand piano, brand name clothes, underwear, jewelery, and a Boston Music Award for outstanding male vocalist belonging to her soon to be ex-husband.

That I saw on tv say that the storage company is suing her for more than 170,000 in unpaid storage fees.
