Pranksters Pose as Bill Gates, Linus Torvalds

Pranksters have gone onto Amazon.com, calling themselves William Gates from Redmont USA and Linus Torvalds from Finland. They used these aliases to post reviews about their operating systems.

Gates, for instance, said Linux was great, and that he doesn't recommend anyone use Windows. Torvalds panned Red Hat Linux.

Amazingly, Amazon refused to remove the reviews, even when it was pointed out that they were blatantly false. They said it was "unfair to remove all reviews that were against the products" and that they would only remove reviews that were offensive.
