At Chiang Mai Zoo in Bangkok, an obese male Panda by the name of Chuang Chuang is being put on a strict diet because he is too heavy to mate with his female partner Lin Hui.
Chuang Chuang weighs in at 331 pounds and that weight was making sex uncomfortable for his 253 pound wife. They were joined in a mock wedding, a little separation time, and possibly pornography (SN reported) to spice up their love life as well.
The zoo will be eliminating bamboo shoots from the pandas diet and feeding him only bamboo leaves in an effort to get him to lose his extra pounds. They hope that this will get the two pandas to finally mate successfully.
