JK Rowling Announces Final Potter Release Date

British author JK Rowling has announced that the seventh and final book in her phenomenally successful Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released on the 21st of July this year.

So far, the books have been sold 325 million times around the world and are available in some 64 different languages, including Latin. The previous Potter book, The Half-Blood Prince, sold 2,009,574 copies on its first day.

Rowling has said of the last book that two characters die and two get a reprieve, all four events of which she wasn't expecting to write.

All of the Harry Potter series, were all awesome to read. I wonder what may come next after the Harry Potter Series.... Will there be a movie for the last book??

  Yep

WB have actually bought 10 "Harry Potter and the..." trademarks. Somewhat worriesome. They don't do the books justice when they have something to go on, I'd hate to see what they'd do to three other ones.
