Ariane 5 Sets Weight Lifting Record

 

The Ariane 5 rocket from Europe has set a new record, lifting a two-satellite, 9.4 tonnes payload into orbit. The two satellites will be used for TV amongst other things to cover Europe and North America.

The launch was initially delayed on Thursday due to poor weather.
