The Anaheim Ducks have beaten out the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference NHL finals, meaning the Californian team will clash with Ottawa in the Stanley Cup finals. The Ducks beat the Red Wings 4-3 last night.
The Red Wings were down 3-0 in the first two periods of the game, before surging with three goals in the last period. However, with just 14:06 remaining, the Duck's Samuel Pahlsson scored the winning goal and cinched his team's place in the finals.
The first match in the Stanley Cup finals starts Monday night in Anaheim. Both the Ducks and the Senators are in it for their first Stanley Cup championship win.
