India: Three-year-old Raj Kumar has been charged by Indian police over a riot earlier this year. It is alleged that the toddler led rioting villagers in clashes with police and that he fired on and threw rocks at officers.
Police came to his house and demanded that his parents produce him after three summons went unheeded. Raj's family states that he was with his grandmother the entire day that the riots occurred.
“The riots were captured on a security camera and the complaint has the names of people whose faces have been identified. But if there is any doubt, we are willing to look into it," a police spokesperson said.
