Police Take Away Preacher's Magic

A Ghanaian preacher is being held by Ugandan police over fears that he may be using a magic device to "dupe" patrons. The pastor reportedly is given large sums of money from parishioners looking for miracle cures and help through financial crises.

The device in question is an Electric Touch device used by magicians to administer small electric shocks. Officials say they believe that "Prophet" Obiri Yeboah may be using it to convince churchgoers that they are receiving miracles.

One magic shop advertises the device saying, "With a simple touch, make a fluorescent bulb glow on and off at your command, make confetti move, charge a spoon and watch as it shocks a volunteer!"

Electric Touch

"everything you touch turns to excitement"

The next big thing from the creative mind of Yigal Mesika and Zeev Fleischman!

*With a touch of your finger, make a fluorescent light bulb glow on and off under your command!

*Make confetti move under your command!

*charge a spoon or keys and watch as it shocks a volunteer!

I don't know a way to make this sound not rude over text, but I really don't mean for it to be. What's the point?

  WTF?

"The pastor reportedly is given large sums of money from parishioners looking for miracle cures and help through financial crises"

Why would people give away large sums of money if they are in financial crisis?!?!?!!?

Ah, I was wondering about that myself. Without any context, it's confusing as heck.

/Just as a side note. I just accidently hit Shift+Q in the newest MS IE 7.0, with two tabs open. I didn't know it could do that. Interesting.

Sorry to carry on off topic but you can also press the small tab like thing at the left of the tabs that looks like 4 thumbnails for the same effect.

On topic I would say I agree with chrisharbin.

You did realize that you could do that with previous OS releases didn't you?

 by: ablindmansees     07/11/2007 09:24 PM
  With the

Windows Key+Tab in vista with the visual desktop thingy enabled, thats probably the coolest one of all I think.

Lurker's correct, I was just pointing out where it was available online. The other things was, the description you wrote said one magic shop advertises.......... and i was just showing that the description was word for word what the ebay description said.

Not a big deal. two reasons why I put it on there. I didnt mean to copy the text before the description though.

Maybe I'm thinking of the one seniorgato mentioned...one of them actually cycles thru the actual windows...I dunno...I'm crazy...I was using vista on a friend's computer for a while but had to go back to my poor XP computer :( But it's definitely cooloer looking than the Alt+tab in XP :)

ebay shows that the trick equipment is ridiculously priced. I found the instructions online to build your own for less than 20 bucks. google pikashoes.
