Kenyans Angry About Donkey Nappy Law

A council order that all donkeys in the town of Limuru (Kenya) should wear nappies to help keep the town clean has been delayed after locals reacted negatively to the new law.

The law was supposed to take effect on the 16th of July, however, it has been halted. Donkeys are used for personal and business transport by many locals but government officials are worried about the cleanliness of the streets.

While some local donkey owners accepted the bill, many complained that the council needs employ more street sweepers and make use of the tax paid by the locals or teach the locals how to tie nappies on donkeys without getting fatally kicked.

  Brilliant idea

right up until they get to: "Now where do we put the used dirty donkey diapers?" I imagine that to be quite the fragrant aroma, walking down the street in the African heat, smelling processed donkey feed.

sorry bout the rhyming just started writing and it came out on accident.

They have a fair complaint I think

"teach the locals how to tie nappies on donkeys without getting fatally kicked."

You know, I'd want to know that too, if I owned a donkey, and had to put a nappy on it.

  Evidently, none of the posters

have witnessed a --donkey basketball game, being held on a basket ball court in an indoor gymnassium. I have, and it is hilarious.

Nappies are something different where I come from. We call them diapers, and that's what they should be called. All other names for diaper are insignificant.
