Cucamonga Shoot Up

A going away party in Cucamonga that was advertised on Myspace.com ended up with four wounded and one shot dead. It was to be a celebration for someone going to collage. However, one hundred unexpected guests showed up including gang members.

According to the sheriff's department, the deputies responded to the shooting report and found Deaundre Richmond, 18, who had been killed by the shoot out.

The names of the people who were wounded was not released because those people were thought to be gang members. No arrests have been made according the the San Barnardino County Sheriffs department in California.

Seems like a good way to mess up someone's life--- post their address on mypspace and say 'FREE BEER' Tuesday Night 11 PM!

  Only a half wit would...

use MySpace to advertise a house party. You can't blame myspace, just beacsue they don't discriminate against the stupid. I find it to be a great networking tool.

No offence to anyone on SN

But I would never invite any of you over for a party. I don't know anyone enough to do that and quite frankly in my opinion, we never would be close enough because we have not met in real life.

And as for MySpace, I place no blame on the site. For that matter, I could invite someone here or on IM. It's all about playing it safe and staying smart about it.

  Hasn't this happened before?

Was there another article about some teenager who advertised a party on myspace and wound up getting her house trashed and parents wedding dress "soiled".

I mean how absentminded can you get?

And yes I too would never post, A: My address, B: My phone number and C: ANY personal details over the internet. And I just can't comprehend the imbicillic mind that would.

  Quite a few times

In the UK at least four times, and they're just the ones that made the news.

I don't like collage either, but arming art critics is going a bit too far.
