After long negotiations, Scott Bakula has officially accepted the role of Captain Jonathan Archer in the new Star Trek series, which will be called Enterprise.
"Scott personifies the charm and intelligence that the role calls for," said the co-creator of the show.
Some of the other cast members have also been confirmed, including Jolene Blalock, Anthony Montgomery, and Connor Trinneer.
