Entomologists are debating the origin and rarity of a massive spider web that covers several trees, shrubs and ground cover along a 200 yard stretch of trail at the Lake Tawakoni State Park.
The superintendent of the park, Donna Garde, said "At first, it was so white it looked like fairyland. Now it's filled with so many mosquitoes it's turned a little brown...you can hear the screech of millions of mosquitoes caught in those webs."
Officials at the park say the massive mosquito trap is a big attraction for some visitors, and others won't go near it.
