"Bin Laden" Driven Through Security Summit Checkpoints, Twice!
 

A man disguised as Osama Bin Laden, traveling in a fake motorcade set up by an Australian TV comedy show, was driven through two security checkpoints before the motorcade was stopped near the hotel where US President George Bush is staying in Sydney.

Australian politicians and police forces were highly embarrassed by the stunt which was organized by a TV show called “The Chaser’s War on Everything” and led to 11 cast and crew members being arrested.

"NSW Police Minister David Campbell denied he was embarrassed... He said the prank was inappropriate and he 'did not see the funny side at all'".

Chasers is as lame as Ronny Johns Half hour with a piss poor attempt at immitating Chopper.

@Maxx20 - They were arrested because they entered an area that is restricted to the public for the duration of the APEC summit.
Pretty simple really. The fact is reinforced further by 5km of fencing and barriers and a heavy police presence on the ground, air and water.

our buddy bin laden, binny as bush likes to call him, likely had vip reservations already in place. That got him through the first couple checkpoints with ease.

The guy that was in the last checkpoint was likely watching re-runs of "Lost" when he should have been paying attention to the faxed memo to let bush's bud right on in.

Oh well, no matter. With the holidays right around the corner, it won't be too long till they'll see each other to pose for this years laden-bush xmas greeting card.

the show is hilarious if you know anything about australian politics, and who is the 'he'?. you obviously have no idea as it is a team of 5 that make the Chaser. and yes Chaz is an idiot and does stupid stuff because orginally he joined the rest of the team by doing a knock off a jackass called lameass so it is what we expect from him, the team also includes a musician, reporter and 2 general commedian/writers who do very different setups than Chaz. but even with Chaz if you have heard some of the comebacks and comments he makes you can tell the guy is alot smarter then he is playing.

and this will be one of a dozen clips that will make up a single episode of the War on everthing. of course what ever you have seen is not the actual clip as they havn't done the commentry or anything else (even editing) as they are in Jail (atleast until APEC is over). So watch any unedited clip from any TV show and judge it.
