Zomba Recording, the label about to release Britney Spears's new album, has said it will be going after celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton after he posted unfinished songs from Spears's new album on his Web site.
Zomba stated: "The unauthorized dissemination of recordings is a serious violation of copyright law. In addition, posting demos and unfinished songs as if they were final versions is grossly unfair to the artist and misleading to the public."
Hilton's lawyers said he was being targetted for the sake of "publicity". Hilton has posted 10 new Spears tracks on his site for download over the last three months.
