Napster Launches Internet Music Platform

Music download service Napster has relaunched and now offers a web platform that allows subscribers to access their music on any computer without having to download software. Previously, a Napster software had to be downloaded to listen to music.

Napster's Chief Operating Officer Christopher Allen said: "With this new platform Napster can easily be integrated into consumer electronics devices or integrated into other Web sites such as social networking sites."

Napster should have died a long time ago.

  Bearshare?

Yes, I've found a number of virii using Bearshare, but only if I've downloaded executable files. I am a movie hunter so I do not run into those problems.
I also have my antivirus program set to scan any incoming data while it is held in memory and and if any infection is detected it is deleted without ever being written to the hard drive.

I also keep three clean images of the entire C: partition on separate drives and on DVD disks, so in a worst-case scenario, I can restore an image in less than 30 minutes and continue on as if nothing had happened. I do not worry about viruses.
