Man Dressed as Murder Victim Falls Asleep on Train, Causes Panic

Terrified passengers on a train in Hamburg alerted police after spotting a fellow rider lifeless and covered in blood. The "victim" turned out to be a heavily inebriated 24-year-old man returning from a Halloween party dressed in a murder costume.

Police said "The passengers were alarmed as the man appeared to be bleeding from the face and hands. He could also not talk." After waking up and giving officers a look of amazement, he explained the situation to them.

Emergency service personnel who were at the scene avoided more confusion by removing the makeup on the partier. In Germany, Halloween is now big business. Before the mid 90s, it was almost unheard of.

"After waking up and giving offers a look of amazement, he explained the situation to them." Is "offers" supposed to be "officers" or am I reading it wrong?
