German prosecutors have announced that they believe that Nazi war criminal Aribert Heim is alive and well and that they are still hunting for him and have contributed to a reward of $448,000 for information leading to his capture.
Aribert Heim will always be remembered as one of the cruelest of the Nazis in the Mauthausen concentration camp, who removed organs from fully conscious prisoners without anesthetic and used one man's head as a paperweight.
The hunt for Heim is being led by Efraim Zuroff, in conjunction with one of the world's best-known Nazi hunters, Simon Wiesenthal.
