Illinois: Northwestern University is investigating whether the local chapter of the Delta Upsilon fraternity broke any rules by hosting a performance by the Half Pint Brawlers, the self-described "only hardcore midget wrestling company."
The Half Pint Brawler website claims that shows involve trash cans, thumb tacks, staple guns and broken bottles. "The midgets bleed what little blood they have for your enjoyment," says the site.
Mary Desler, associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students, said she was not informed until after the show. Fraternities are supposed to report sponsored recruitment activities prior to them taking place.
