28-year-old Moses Rogers, Jr. was arrested by police on animal cruelty charges for yelling an obscenity meant for a police dog that was in a squad car. He also faces a charge of disorderly conduct. The incidents occurred at 2:24 a.m. Sunday.
According to police, Rogers was walking past the patrol vehicle when he yelled something obscene in the window, "causing (the dog’s) behavior to become overloaded, tormenting the dog," said the affidavit.
More bystanders were drawn to the situation when Rogers got irate after being asked by an officer for his ID. He was eventually released on $750 bail.
