Actor Patrick Swayze has been told by doctors that the cancer in his pancreas is spreading and has left him with only five weeks before he loses his life. His diagnosis came in late January.

Although his tumor did shrink after three sessions, it was less than hoped. That was when Swayze, 55, was advised to "prepare for the end."
