Christian School Head Offers Mother Sex to Enroll Daughter for Free

A local Texas news station has posted a tape of Christian school head LaVern Jordan offering to have sex with a mother in a parking lot so she can get free enrollment for her daughter. The fee was $300 and the school head wanted several sessions.

After getting the tape of this conversation, a reporter recorded his confrontation with the man described as the "spiritual backbone" of the school.

Here is part of the transcript:
"Jordan: "For the $300 I would expect maybe we could get together several times, you think?"
Mother: "Several times, whatcha mean several times?"
Jordan: "Well I don't know, you might like whatcha getting.""

  LaVern, surely....
1. Why is this lady taping conversations? This makes it a likely set-up.

  Looking for criminals?
No need to look any further than the local Christian church or institution.

Christianity is an ongoing crime. Always has been.

Lucky for you ignorance isn't a crime.
  by: lauriesman     04/20/2008 01:38 AM
Dude if that was sarcasm please put it in your post somewhere otherwise that has to be one of the ignorany things I've ever heard. Unfortunately there are people who call themselves christians who do stuff like this just as there are people who call themselves muslims/mormons/hindus/human beings and do stuff like this.

Christians by this doofus is like judging Americans by George W. Bush.

That's pretty messed up to do but I have a different question for any school people. Would any colleges accept this high schools diploma since they basically say you passed courses that you did not actually pass?

  @ above question
if the school is not accredited then the students are not likely going to be accepted into a state university. private institutions, of course, can do whatever they want.

The students probably can't pass the regime of standardized tests that are curriculum-based, either.

Depends on the kids if they can pull it off or not.

OK. Just wondering. And thanks for the word. I couldn't remember accredited.

  And she complained?

  Stick to the pint
I think you are all straying away from point with the labeling. Is unacceptable for any person to abuse his authority in this manner. Be it christian, atheist or other. There are ways for a person to solicit sex ans that shouldn't be one of them.

"Stick to the pint" I only drink halves.;)

You are right in what you are saying! Is unacceptable for any person to abuse his authority in this manner. "Be it Christian, atheist or other. There are ways for a person to solicit sex ans that shouldn't be one of them."

But the point I am trying to get at is usually they will have someone higher up the ladder that will fix it so they get off, this really infuriates me.

It doesn't matter that he's a Christian? Sorry, I beg to differ. The man's professed religious beliefs and status within his local Christian community make it all the more hypocritical and surprising that he would offer free education for sex favors.
  by: lĀ“anglais     04/21/2008 06:52 AM
Not at all. It isn't against the law, or social requirements, to be a hypocrit (big or small).

It just offends your sensibilities more, still - that is neither here nor there.
  by: lauriesman     04/21/2008 07:32 AM
  here it is
Being a hypocrit may not be against the law but in the United States solicitation is a crime. Offering money or in this case services for sex is considered to be no different then proforming sex for money.

  Sorry mike
That's not the point - the point is that it doesn't matter whether he is a church preacher or a postal worker, the crime is the same, and is neither more nor less severe than the same crime by any other person.
