Rush Limbaugh Wants Riots at Democratic Convention

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is hoping that there are riots during this year's Democratic Convention in Denver, Colorado. He says this would prevent Americans from voting a Democrat into the oval office.

He said the riots could be part of "Operation Chaos" and they would show Americans how violent he states the far left is. Several callers accused him of inciting violence on his show. He said a Democratic President threatens the economy and security.

He added that riots would never occur at a Rebublican convention. "We don't riot. We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does."

The far American Left has nothing on the infamous right wing terrorist Timothy McVeigh.

  Is there not

a law against that sort of thing. The man should be locked up and told to put a sock in it.

  Man...

This guy would be arrested in Canada for inciting like this. Happily, we'll never
need to see if that would be true. Stay down in your bayou with your sister,
Rush.

so so here yeah have a talk so host encouraging terrorism (look up the meaning if you don't think so) on the radio... isn't this a crime in the US???

and the irony... "they would show Americans how violent he states the far left is."...
"We don't riot. We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does.".

i thought the republican had a near monoply on violence the last few decades...lol

now who launched the iraq war, the afghan war... the gulf war... REPUBLICANS...

"He said a Democratic President threatens the economy and security."

last i check 9/11 occured under a republican president and the economic crisis cause be this war and the deline after the gulf war were products of REPUBLICAN politics... if memory serves clinton was good for the economy and left a surplus... rather than 7 straight deficit-adding years in a row, with an 8th in the bag.

Maybe meet with one of your republican senator friends, You know share a young page, possibly stop by a local restroom for a "tate e tate" with the republican in the next stall.Who knows maybe Jack Abramoff will introduce you to some friendly rich congressmen.

Rush Limbaugh... such a lowly bottom feeding life form. The jerry springer of neo-cons, along with ann coulter, Billy'O, and Sean Hannity.

Rush is of little use to this great nation, but his outlandish extremism gives me a chuckle every so often. I certainly wouldn't lump him in with old guard republicans. Ron Paul is about the only one remaining, that I know of.

FDR worried about the dangers of us falling into a two party system, which we have fallen into and has left voters with a lack of choice in candidates.

But Rush Limbaugh, in all his wisdom, has talked about two parties being too much choice as is. He's rambled on and on about the American people having too much choice with two parties, he wants there just to be one party a single ruling conservative party.

If that's the case Rush, and you win. We all lose, that defeats the purpose of democracy you imbecile.

He seems to miss the point that with at least with a left, we at least have two choices and competitive party check's and balances.

Our country seems to be in the worst shape when dems or republicans hold all the cards. Corruption runs rampant....

Actually, the economy under Clinton was the best it's been in United States history.

And how many right-wingers threatened Clinton's life, as opposed to left-wingers threatening Bush's life? How many death threats did Toby Keith get and how many did the Dixie Chicks get? Is it abortion doctors or anti-abortion activists who get shot or blown up? How many members of the ACLU assaulted or killed a person of Middle Eastern descent after Sept. 11? How many gay people have been beaten to death by MoveOn.org members?

  Ratings must be getting slow.

Maybe his audience is dying off at a faster rate than usual. These talking heads are shameless self-promoters, and they do it by upping the rhetoric when they get the chance. Coulter's admitted to as much. It's all about saying what will get you noticed.

He's absolutely telling the truth.
Republicans don't do any of those things, they kill other people, mostly iraqi, burn THEIR houses, kill THEIR children.

I just had a vision of Rush and Ann Coulter getting it on, Now I can't get it out of my mind.

Ann to Rush : Ho no, not these ackward movements again.

 by: Rv3   04/25/2008 03:36 PM
  So where is....

the Department of Homeland Security, the NSA, the FBI and the FCC?

I thought they were supposed to be protecting us from terrorists like this nutball. If Jon Stewart was promoting riots during the Republican Convention you know the Bushtapo would have Comedy Central shut down.

Arent you a bit of a violent lefty that would kill her children, friends, cats and rape even a federal mailbox? Tsk. Tsk. Well, you just converted me to vote Republican!

I hope there are riots too

I hope the riots spread all the way to the capital and result in a tear down of the govt

  Rush Limbaugh is....

... a big fat drug addict.

... a hatemongering fat drug addict.

... old and fat.

... greedy.

... saying all this for ratings.

... a traitor against the USA.

... a criminal for inciting hate-crime.

... a racist.

... did I mention he was a hypocritical drug-popping *******le?

 by: theironboard     04/25/2008 05:23 PM
  As ukcn said...

Rush Limbaugh thinks that the two party system is too much choice. If he had it his way, the US would start modeling its political system after China.

  For your entertainment

TIB's comment reminded me of the song, "I'm a Nazi," by Rush Limbaugh (or rather, a radio station that edited together a bunch of his words to make him sing). It's really good work, REALLY funny, and is found online pretty easily.

 by: MomentOfClarity     04/25/2008 06:17 PM
  Reminds me of something

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would say. "We don't do that, everyone else does! We're perfect!"

And by "hopes there are riots" I assume that is a call to action for repub's to start a riot? Which, by his statement, is a paradox since repubs don't cause violence like starting wars - I mean riots.

What a joke of a human. Sounds like yet another cry for attention.

 by: barryman9001   04/25/2008 06:20 PM
  UMM..

"He added that riots would never occur at a Rebublican convention"

actually there is big beef over voting in delegates because many and most of them support Ron Paul, and the leaders are so pissed off that there are so many Ron Paul supporters they start changing the rules, and start kicking them out. Even after they are voted in they find that they support Paul and start to say they where abusing the system. After that all the republicans start fighting over it.

  That &..

by difenition isn't Rush Limbaugh a terrorist now?

Bush is also a terrorist by their own definition, but nothing is done about it, only towards us who are not as rich or controlling.

 by: Vhan     04/25/2008 07:02 PM
  If McCain wins...

Which is looking more likely due to the frn show being put on by Obama and Hillary 'wannabe-Willy' Clinton, I believe Rush Limbaugh will make a terrific head of Homeland Security, or perhaps even CIA director...it seems he has it in him to want to get his way at all costs...

 by: bkraul   04/25/2008 07:42 PM
  Rush Limbaugh a terrorist?

No he's just an ass. I use to listen to him for a good laugh when I was living up north.

  In other news

Rush Limbaugh cut a particularly rank fart today.

Rush says allot of stuff, he is an entertainer of sorts, his job is to talk.

And it's true Republicans are incapable of staging a riot, but they do kill and eat there own children. I know for a fact because I use to have 2 sisters and a brother, luckily I escaped home before they got to me.

 by: shoezacks   04/26/2008 04:13 AM
  Just an observation

but it seems that the right seems to blame all of their woes on fantasies and the left is more inclined to blame their woes on realities...

  What's that smell?

It's Rush Limburger. This 'man' has the IQ of a conservative; give him a break. ---NOT
Can he become an even bigger, fat, drug addict, perverted moron? Stay tuned.

 by: JonSmith     04/26/2008 04:01 PM
  I honestly don't

understand why he is still around. Infact, I can't think of any of my friends that actually listen to him. I still know him as that whack job neo-con that was hooked on oxy-contin (and I think i heard a rumor about crack?).

 by: meshuggahfan   04/26/2008 09:57 PM
  @meshuggahfan

I've got some Republican 'friends' that think Rush and Bill O' are gods. I don't get it either. You can't tell them anything. Right is right and left is pinko-commie kool aid drinking scum, according to them. I figure hell will be packed with people like them.

 by: JonSmith     04/27/2008 05:05 AM
  @|meshuggahfan

I'm a moderate who loves listening to Rush and O'rely from time to time. Yes there egos are to big, yes they say stupid stuff some times. But what so many stupid republicans fail to relise is these guys your listening to on the radio arnt real people. There prasonas, there just trying to make a buck. Never ever alow your self to beilive who your listening to on the radio or TV is the person that they are in real life.

  as a follow up

is it wrong to like Keith Olberman? I see him on TV at work, and the ones that I do catch are mildly amusing and semi-informative.

 by: meshuggahfan   04/27/2008 10:02 AM
  Limbaugh

and O'Reilly and the rest of the so-called conservative ilk talk jocks are just entertainment. If you compare them to professional wrestling and don't take a word they say as 'truth', then that is fine. But their lemming audience hangs on every word as truth. There is more truth in the National Enquirer or the Onion than there is on Republican talk TV and radio.
