Burger King - Home of the $200 Whopper

Forget having it "Your way", how about having it this way: Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine and shallot infused mayonnaise.

These are most of the ingredients that will be available at one Burger King, once a week in West London. Seems a bit frivolous? But there's a noble purpose; THe proceeds from the burger will go to Help a London Child charity.

The limited edition burger is the world's most expensive($70 more than the previous burger), and will also be available for order via hotline. A senior Burger King representative hopes that 100 will be sold by day's end, eight were sold by lunchtime.

  I just had to

Well, if you like hamburgers give'em a try sometime. Me, I can't usually eat 'em 'cause my girlfriend's a vegetarian. Which more or less makes me a vegetarian, but I sure love the taste of a good burger.

wouldn't it be cheaper to give the kids in london the money directly rather than through a hamburger at a ludacris price... ah well people are stupid.

  Charitable Contributions

In the U.S. charitable contributions are tax deductable. Why is that? It's possible that people, stupid or not, are more likely to give when even at some smaller amount, something is in it for them. I we how some could debate that its less generous, but in the overall acope, I think you get more participants.

  LOL @ Hugo

Yeah, but if they made it look like the picture, I don't think anyone would know what to do...I know I'm so used to seeing a nice messy burger with all the toppings falling out the sides that I think I'd get a little confused and wonder what the heck was going on! :p

  You'd have to

take a 'commercial' picture with it first, then smash it down with your hand to get it to fit in your mouth :)
I'm up for the challenge....bring it on!

  one time

One time while out of town I stopped at a BK. The Whopper that I recieved from my order there was picture perfect. For a second I thought about relocating to this town but then figured the employee was new and was trying to impress his new boss, in a week the whoppers will look like the ones that are served in my town.
