Former Power Ranger Attempts to Sever His Manhood

29-year-old Skylar Deleon, who once starred on in Power Rangers, has been rushed to hospital for treatment after attempting to sever his own penis whilst in custody.

"Somehow he got hold of a razor blade and tried to saw off his penis, but didn't complete the job. He was unsuccessful. As I understand it, there was a lot of blood," said Orange County Jail spokesperson Damon Micalizzi.

Deleon is awaiting trial on charges that he was a member of a group who in 2004 forced the owners of a 55-foot yacht to sign ownership of the boat over before throwing them overboard.

  Sorry, but...
While the summary is true to the source, the source is severely misinformed and misleading. This guy was NOT a "former" Power Ranger and did not "star" in the series.

And for being a "former child TV star" (quote from source), Internet Movie Database has a single acting credit for this guy: ( In "Second Chance", Episode 55 from Season 1 ( he played a character named "Roger". He shows up at 1:29 in the Part 1 link below. He's a little kid who needs some help for that episode.

Part 1: (
Part 2: (

In this episode, the actual Power Rangers were:

Red Ranger - Jason Scott, played by Austin St. John
Yellow Ranger - Trini Kwan, played by Thuy Trang
Black Ranger - Walter Jones, played by Zack Taylor
Pink Ranger - Kimberly Hart, played by Amy Jo Johnson
Blue Ranger - Billy Cranston, played by David Yost
Green Ranger - Tommy Oliver, played by Jason Frank

Truth in media, dammit.

a purposeful choice. Leave him be.

  What I don't understand is
How can you be unsuccessful in severing your penis? You either do it or you don't.
  by: John E Angel     07/20/2008 07:28 PM
no no no no no. Is this 4real? Im going into shock, cya.

there was a newer version of the power rangers in which there was a white ranger which youc an see in this pic is clearly him...
  by: maddhatter   07/21/2008 05:12 AM
Thats not him.
  by: luc1ddr3am     07/21/2008 05:43 AM
Plus that picture is of the original power rangers, not a "new" one. I know my childhood time wasters, thank you very much. :)
  by: Kolman   07/21/2008 05:56 AM
The picture from here ( is of the Power Rangers in Season 2. The White Ranger is Tommy Oliver played by Jason Frank (yes, the same guy as the original Green Ranger). The Tommy Oliver character was in many Power Ranger incarnations and was the longest-serving Ranger ( Also, at the point the picture was taken the Red, Yellow, and Black Ranger positions had been given to new characters.

Red Ranger - Rocky DeSantos, played by Steve Cardenas
Yellow Ranger - Aisha Campbell, played by Karan Ashley
Black Ranger - Adam Park, played by Johnny Yong Bosch
Pink Ranger - Kimberly Hart, played by Amy Jo Johnson
Blue Ranger - Billy Cranston, played by David Yost
White Ranger - Tommy Oliver, played by Jason Frank

looked just like him to me
  by: maddhatter   07/21/2008 09:43 AM
  It might be fake but
I've got a before and after picture of Austin St John (original Red Ranger) on my computer at home. The before is obviously a picture from the series, but the after is a gay porn shot with a much beefier looking Austin XD

Also am I right in thinking that the first series was half-Japanese? The bad guys voices always seemed off, and it makes sense to me that they'd use footage from the Japanese series (where the show started), such as ranger and zord fights, and just re-shoot the parts where you saw the rangers out of costume.

I don't think so. There was alot of controversy over whether the actors were actually in the suits throguh the first season. That controversy started due to the straight hips of the yellow suit (Trini) vs. the curvy hips of the pink suit (Kimberly).

That was put to rest by someone at the time...who knows. Either way I'm pretty sure the costumed characters had been voiced over and the american series was unique to america although similar to japanese bandai stuff.

  Bringing about...
his own karma, how interesting.

I wonder what really made him do that??
  by: captainJane     07/21/2008 04:27 PM
So basically what luc1ddr3am is saying is that the gay power ranger porn on your pc is of no significance at all its power ranger porn on your pc....

Don't worry, it's censored :P but it gave me a few laughs since Power Rangers was the first show that I really got addicted to when I was younger. Arguably not a good thing necessarily though.

Either way the classic episodes were the best. I've seen a few minutes of the newer series (I've got a great excuse for that sort of thing now that I'm a dad :D) and it's all special effects, and the crap actors are just crap actors rather than 'trained martial artists'. Makes me yearn for a time when home-made puppets were the delight of small children, instead of dodgy flash-based cartoons.

I don't know really, the thing that always made me suspicious was the first villain (can't remember her name, Queen something maybe). Her mouth always seemed completely out of sync with her voice. Obviously the other costumes and such would have to be dubbed, but you could see a human mouth moving and it just wasn't right.

Also, for those daring enough to look :P

"the first villain...Her mouth always seemed completely out of sync with her voice."

Rita Repulsa, and I always noticed the same thing. That is, when I wasn't puzzling over her Madonna cone-tits. WTF was up with that?
  by: MomentOfClarity     07/22/2008 12:42 AM
well thank god its censored i was a bit worried for a few minutes there lol.

There was a movie i want to say it was on lifetime about a girl that had her baby in walmart. I cant remember the main character i was gonna say hilary swank but after looking at her that didnt look right but anyway the pink ranger looks an awful lot like her.

  GO GO
Penis RAZOR!
  by: Jediman3     07/22/2008 04:26 AM
I don't think that's the same guy, unless he was hit in the face with a shovel AND an ugly stick between then and now.
  by: MomentOfClarity     07/22/2008 05:39 AM
Natalie Portman-- NOT THE PINK POWER RANGER.
The movie is called 'Where the Heart is'. It's an actual movie. Not just televised. The main girl is Natalie Portman. You know, the girl from 'Star Wars' (She was the queen), and ... 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium'??

The closest Natalie Portman got to Power Rangers is she dressed up in a power rangers-esque mask for a halloween party.

  Pink Ranger
Wasn't the blond girl from the tv show SCRUBS a pink power ranger at some point? Maybe after Amy Jo?
