Human Foot Found on Michigan Beach

A human foot in a sock and Reebok sandal was found on a Lake Huron beach by a Alpena, MI resident. State police don't know how long the foot has been there but say tests show it belongs to a man 35-years of age or older.

There are a few probable sources for the foot with the most likely being Charles
Rutherford who is presumed drowned during a boat trip in August 2005. His girlfriend Lana Stempien's body was recovered near where the foot was discovered.

Five feet have washed up in B.C. in the past year with only three being identified so far. MI police will work closely with the RCMP to see if there is a connection with those cases or the case of a torso washed up in the same area in May.

First off, no matter how cold the water is, I doubt a human foot would survive in water for 3 years then wash up in good enough condition that it still had socks and shoes on. Second, this isn't even the first foot! There are feet and torso's washing up constantly and these people aren't in the least bit freaked out? I mean, come on people! Something is going on here, and it just ain't right. A red flag really should be up at this point in the game folks...
