Sarah Palin Credits Witch-Fighting Exorcist for Her Success

Thomas Muthee visited Sarah Palin's Wasilla, Alaska church in June, laid hands on her and prayed, "Lord make a way, Lord make a way," according to the Republican candidate for vice president. Pastor Muthee got his start fighting witches, he says.

In "Transformations," a video recently removed from YouTube, Muthee took on "Mama Jane," an accused fortune teller from Kiambu, Kenya. After he broke "a spirit of witchcraft resting over the place," crime dropped and nearly every bar closed down.

Palin's speech on June 8, 2008 at the church was to honor graduates from the church's Masters' Commission. The church's regular pastor says the Commission believes American evangelicals will take refuge in Alaska in the coming "End of Days."

Dick Cheney wants the Civil War back, evidently , the way he was acting here. He was in my town yesterday causing traffic jams and worshiping a Civil War battlefield because his great-great-grandfather fought in a battle on that field. Anything to do with war is a plus in his world. I thought the whole thing was sick.

What's even more sickening is that when America actually was at war and Vice President Cheney had the opportunity to fight for his country, he had, in his own words, "better things to do."

  umm soo

a pastor VISITS her church and prays for her and now this is suspose to be as news worthy as jeremiah wright?

please, this guy isnt even the pastor at the church, just a visitor there. another thing in the bible it describes how the end times will be, war in the middle east and so on, to add that line in the last paragraph like that is news is crap and has nothing to do with the story, its a belief of all christians in the bible that there will be a end time, according to the bible it lists certain things that will happen to show the end tims are coming, things happening now are the things it says, so there just believing what there bible says.

this stuff is far from extreme, if theres one person that is extreme its that pastor that came to the church TO VISIT, he wasnt the head pastor of the church (like jeremiah wright was) and on top of that he isnt a mentor to palin like jeremiah wright was to obama,
just another democrat smear tactic at work, trying to dig up dirt anyway possible to shut down the person your side is scared of.
hacking emails, attacking 17 year old children, saying palin credits this pastor who VISTED her church to pray is just the tip of the ice berg in the democrats sleezy game of politics.

good day.

I tend to view Christian Right extremists as rather backwards... and in that view I have to really question... if they're backwards, then that would mean their facing the wrong way... and so who are they really worshiping? I wonder...

I reported the facts as presented in the source ... what's wrong with it? Also, the Bible doesn't say that Christians will take refuge in Alaska as the world nears Armageddon. That's a wacky, cultish belief invented from whole cloth.

Forgot to mention that the word "witch" does not occur in the xtian bible. You HAVE read that, right? I am not now, nor have I ever been, a xtian. Yet I have read it. I have several translations and a concordance.

The word actually translates to something totally different. I'll assume you have some reading comprehension, even if I am doubting it right now.

To pray for the destruction or removal of another faith is an act of hate. Is your version of xtianity just hate in the guise of an aryan dying god?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being Wiccan (aka a "witch" to you). Your religion may not approve, but my faith does not approve of a lot of the things you do, and I still don't bother my deities with the whole "OH, BLESSED ALLFATHER!!! REMOVE THIS POTENTIAL REPRODUCER!!! THEY MIGHT SPREAD THEIR STUPID!!!"

I respect everyone's right to be an idiot. I really do. Some people just can't help it. But come on! Praying against an entire faith? What's next? Praying against hamsters? Cuz ya know they're just straight evil. They're related to rats and stuff! And don't even get me started on rabbits.

Yeah, the COMMENT link is to allow someone to COMMENT on the story. So there goes the validity of your COMMENT. But do try again.

  The other sources also say

he hounded the accused out of town and that she ran a “divination” centre called the Emmanuel Clinic. (Another religious nut I guess, probably a campeditor of Muthee.) For some reason the police raided her Clinic fired shots and killed a pet python which they believed to be a demon.

After Mama Jane was questioned by police – and released – she decided it was time to leave town.

I Love Religion it can justify anything </sarcasm>
