AIG Execs Have a 400K Spa Party on Your Dime

A spokesperson for President Bush expressed outrage Wednesday after it was reported that executives of AIG Bank spent $440,000 for a week long spa getaway, less than one week after being bailed out by the federal government. (SN Reported)

The spokesperson, Dana Perino, is quoted as saying that Bush did not ask for $700 billion in unmonitored cash "to help top executives and certainly not to help executives go to a spa."

Amongst the charges on the spa bill are almost $200K for rooms, which cost between $425 and $1,200 per night; over $150,000 in meals, and $23,000 in spa charges for the week.

  I'll admit

The word "unmonitored" did not appear in the article. I put it in as part of my interpretation. However, I didn't put the quotes around it, and the fact is that he did ask for the money to be unmonitored and for the ability to spend it in whatever darned way he wanted to with no accountability and no transparency. At least congress was smart enough to see that for what it was.

  Pirates

American Executives have stuffed the world economy, and now they are treating Americans with contempt. I think its about time Americans start taking a few scalps, before there's nothing left.
Dont forget, its your money these pirates are spending.
