Iraq Condemns CIA Attack in Syrian Village

The government of Iraq has unexpectedly slammed a recent CIA raid in a Syrian border village which is claimed to have killed an al-Qa'ida commander.

An Iraqi government spokes person, Ali al-Dabbagh told reporters "The Iraqi government rejects US aircraft bombarding posts inside Syria," adding, "The constitution does not allow Iraq to be used as a staging ground to attack neighbouring countries."

The attack inside Syrian territory is expected to deepen suspicions in Syria and neighbouring Jordan that US military presence in the Middle East will be used as a base for future operations against them.

This whole "War on Terrorism" is just an excuse for us to go into any country we want and blow the crap out of them. Hopefully Obama will be quick to tone things down a bit.

Just curious, for what reason do you think this country or any country would go into another country to blow the crap out of them?

Quote: Hopefully Obama will be quick to tone things down a bit.

I think the key word there is hopefully. Seriously doubtful.
