The final Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll shows Barack Obama with an 11.4-point lead over John McCain on Election Day. The pollster's final tally is Obama 54.1, McCain 42.7. The other/not sure percentage is 3.1 percent.
What is shaping up to be a stunning victory for Obama looks to come from his support among independent voters, women, moderates and newly registered voters. More than nine out of 10 Democrats supports Obama, compared to 85% of Republicans for McCain.
McCain has leads in several demographics: a slight advantage among voters age 55-69; a 73 percent advantage among conservatives and a seven-point lead among white people.
